These grant application guidelines are provided to help in preparing your application to the Healing Touch International Foundation. Please feel free to modify your application where needed. HTI Foundation accepts applications for grant money for the following purposes:

      • Research to encourage and advance the philosophy, objectives and techniques of Healing Touch and other energy based healing therapies.
      • Outreach programs which provide Healing Touch for humanitarian purposes.

      2. Narrative (Maximum of 2-5 double-spaced pages)

      A. Purpose of Grant

      • Statement of needs/problems to be addressed; description of target population and how they will benefit.
      • Mission statement of the organization.
      • Description of project goals and objectives and statement as to whether this is a new or ongoing request.
      • Plans to accomplish the goals and objectives. Research must include detailed methodology, instrumentation, and plans for data analysis.
      • Timetable for implementation.
      • List of names, qualifications (or resume), and job description of all the researchers or service providers in the project.
      • Other organizations, if any, participating in the project and their roles.
      • Long-term strategies for continued funding of this project at the end of grant period.

      B. Evaluation
      • Plans for evaluation, including how success will be defined and measured.
      • How evaluation results will be used and/or disseminated and, if appropriate, replicated.

      C. Finances
      • Include a detailed, itemized budget. Be specific and justify each item or category. Items already available, such as duplication and computer support should not be included.
      • List amounts requested of other foundations, corporations and other funding sources to which this proposal has been submitted.

      3. Attachments
      • Please attach the following:
      • A copy of the current IRS determination letter indicating 501{c}(3) tax-exempt status.
      • Letters of support (1-3).
      • Supporting documentation of the organization's program, if available.
