Healing Touch International Foundation, Inc., is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation established July 1997. The purpose of the Healing Touch International Foundation is to receive and distribute funds to assist, encourage and advance the philosophy, objectives and techniques of Healing Touch therapy and other energy based healing therapies.

Healing Touch International Foundation grants are given specifically for the purposes of research into Healing Touch and other energy based healing therapies and outreach programs which provide Healing Touch to disadvantaged persons. To apply for a grant one must complete an application which is included on this web site or contact the office for any questions or concerns.

Example of grants that have been given are as follows:

• The Healing Touch to Romania Project where a group of individuals went to Romania to provide training to care-givers and health care professionals in HT for the benefit of over 130,00 abandoned and neglected children.
• A research project entitled Intentional Touch Therapy (ITT):Healing for Elders and Institutions who's mission is to introduce and integrate ITT into the long-term care setting.
• The Bosum Buddies of Hawaii Project who's primary purpose is provide Healing Touch treatments, emotional support, and referrals to breast cancer patients in the first year of diagnosis.

How can you help in the process of raising funds for these very important research and outreach projects? The HTI Foundation is not a membership based corporation like Healing Touch International. It is only by your tax deductible donations that we can distribute grants and help with these much needed projects.
